I didn't h...Hi, I tried your recipe last night. I didn't have any corn meal so I substituted with chickpea flour. Which I use for "eggy" things like vegan omelets and vegan French toast.<br /><br />It came out fabulous! I should have taken a photo. It was very moist, with a crispy bottom due to the cast iron. <br /><br />Very much like a buttermilk biscuit.
